Notes from a Donnie Moore Sermon; Purpose and the Godhead
{Notes from a Donnie Moore Sermon}
Godhead: Three Parts to one Whole
Father: the source
Son, Jesus: the administrator
Holy Spirit: the manifester
Side Note: I've always wondered if the Godhead had different jobs.
------------
Purpose:
*Being full of purpose but not knowing what to do is frustrating.* (aka the "I'm back from summer camp and full of God... Now what do I do" syndrome.)
Narrowing down the call of God on your life, ask these three Qs:
1 what do you love
2 what bothers/irritates you or makes you angry
3 what moves you. "What gets your heart."
Keep in the direction God has pointed you in & continue in it until He whispers the next step to you. Then follow as directed.
When the Holy Spirit prays, he does not pray in alignment with what you want, but instead what God has ordained. He speaks FOR you.
Romans 8:26
If you limit yourself to your own thinking, you limit yourself to your vision and perspective. That's why we let God lead...
What is your purpose in life?
What are some dreams you've had since you were little?
Have you discovered any part of God's plan for you?
Write it down. Remind yourself. Be grateful for what God has shown to you, and be blessed beyond measure.
